Hopper dryer for injection molding machine is a key equipment for drying plastic raw materials in the injection molding process. It is mainly used for heating and dehumidifying plastic particles that are not easy to absorb moisture, such as PS (polystyrene), PP (polypropylene), ABS (acrylonitrile-butadiene-styrene copolymer), to ensure that they reach the best drying state before injection molding, so as to avoid problems such as bubbles, silver streaks or decreased mechanical properties in the finished product. The equipment adopts an electric heating system, and the maximum drying temperature can reach 160℃. It can flexibly adapt to the drying needs of different materials, such as ABS usually requires 80~90℃, PS is about 70~80℃, and PP requires 80~100℃. Its working principle is to circulate hot air into the sealed hopper through a fan, so that the plastic particles are evenly heated and the surface moisture is evaporated. Some models are also equipped with material level monitoring and temperature adjustment functions, which are easy to operate and efficient. Hopper Dryer is usually installed directly above the injection molding machine feed port to achieve automatic continuous feeding, reduce manual intervention, and improve production efficiency. Its compact structure and wide capacity range can meet the needs of small to large injection molding production. At the same time, it adopts a stainless steel filter screen to ensure the cleanness of raw materials.
